New York State Maple Weekends

March 20, 21 and March 27, 28, 2010 Saturday & Sunday 10am to 4pm
Come join us for maple syrup demonstrations, a pancake breakfast by the Springwater Gala, taste the flavors of maple syrup & hike into the Sugarbush on our new Sugarbush Hollow Nature Trail. Great old fashion outdoor fun and education for families and friends! Free tours, demonstrations and tastings. Pancake Breakfast by Springwater Gala $5.00 adult $2.00 children. NYFOA Woods Walk of Sugarbush Hollow Forests:

April 10, 2010 Saturday 10 am to 2pm
  Join the New York State Forest Owners Association as we learn about a new fast growing maple tree, an orchard of planted sugar maples and black cherry, results of forest thinning effect on maple syrup production and an explanation of the new USDA grant programs for forest owners. Hike our new Sugarbush Hollow Nature Trail and learn how we created a woodland trail with natural sites throughout a beech forest. 2nd Annual Springwater Fiddlers Fair & American Craft Show

September 18, 2010 Saturday 10 am to 6pm
  The Fiddlers Fair is an all day musical event for the whole family. Whether you prefer to sit and enjoy the music on stage or hike the Sugarbush Nature Trail to experience “fiddling-in-the-woods”, we guarantee an eclectic music mix. Enjoy our forestry educational workshops, seasonal local culinary bounty foods by area restaurants, food processors and farmers, and beautifully crafted handmade products from a variety of local artists and craftspersons. $5.00 admission, children under 10 free.
