Nature Trails

We have 6 miles of secluded nature trails that traverse through our Sugarbush the rest of our 220 acre farm. Hike at your own risk and follow our Sugarbush Nature Trail guidelines. Explore the spring woodland wildflowers in April and May. Enjoy the crisp fall foliage of the sugar maple trees and the silence of the winter wonderland.

Hiking Club

We welcome hiking clubs and can offer tours of trails in the East Springwater back roads in addition to the Sugarbush Nature Trail. Arrangements can be made for groups and meals by reservations only. We also sell a local hiking book locating 21 hiking trails in the “Little Finger Lakes” if you would like to explore the area on your own.

Cross Country Skiing & Snow Shoeing    

Bring your snowshoes or skies during the winter season to Sugarbush Hollow and follow the designated trails on the Sugarbush Nature Trail. All Recreational Activities at Sugarbush Hollow require reservations and are subject to approval. Picnicking is available in front of the sugarhouse.

Local Skiing and Ski Resorts

Coates Road, next to Sugarbush Hollow is a seasonal road and can be used for cross country skiing during the late winter months.  Often snowmobiles pass through this area and stop by the sugarhouse.  If you’re interested in stopping by the saphouse call us at 585-943-3475.
