Educational Programs at Sugarbush Hollow

School Programs:

educational programs at Sugarbush Hollow in Springwater, NYDuring our Maple Season (March-mid May) we open our sugarhouse and sugarbush to area public and private schools for field trips. One of our many objectives is to create a place where people can learn about nature (trees, forests, wildlife, wildflowers, woodland foods, weather and ecological systems).  Other objectives include educating people about where their food comes from, farming the forest, how a tree makes maple sap, the history of maple syrup, imitation food products versus pure products and health/nutritional benefits, and most important how the maple syrup making process works.  We offer a class, group, or organization a presentation that can be adjusted to any age level, specific needs or interests, objectives, or curriculum. The cost of our presentation is $2.00 per person with a maximum group size of 50 persons and will last an hour and a half.  bus parking for educational programs & tours at Sugarbush Hollow in Springwater, NY
